From the founder :
My name is Zarina Khan, and I come from a journalism and corporate background. Until recently, I spent several years working in corporates like ICICI, Reliance, Max and Care Health in the financial and digital marketing domains, where I held leadership roles and handled high-pressure responsibilities. My work involved driving results, managing teams, and understanding how systems function — but over time, I realized that something was missing: a deeper purpose.
That’s when I decided to step out of the corporate comfort zone and walk toward what I now call my true calling — building platforms that give voice to the voiceless.
Right now, I’m taking my first major step with Choir India News Network (www.choirindia.com)
— an independent media platform that focuses on unheard stories, social realities, and grassroots-level voices. The idea is simple: in a country as vast and diverse as ours, every voice matters. And unless we create space for those who are often ignored — especially women, youth, and vulnerable communities — we cannot truly progress.
My work with Choir India is still in its early stages, but it’s been one of the most fulfilling chapters of my life. I’ve left behind the corporate glass doors to walk into classrooms, villages, conflict zones, and real human stories — and through that, I’ve begun to understand the true meaning of service, courage, and responsibility.
Right now, I stand not as someone who has achieved it all, but as someone who has just started — with a clear vision, an open heart, and the courage to unlearn and begin again.
